ESI class checklists

Upon acceptance to the ESI, please review the class checklist for information on registration deadlines, payment options, how to submit your bio and where to make room reservations.

Payment

The tuition for the ESI is $975 per participant. Tuition covers all program fees, materials and lunch each full day. Agencies are responsible for all lodging expenses, parking and other incidental expenses incurred by participants. Tuition may be paid by check, credit card via phone, check, Electronic Funds Transfer or Internal Department Transfer (VCU departments only). Electronic payments must contain the account number, the FIN number and the invoice number. Be sure to send a copy of the invoice with your payment. The link in your acceptance e-mail provides access to the invoice which can be printed and also emailed. Please send a copy of the invoice with your payment to the address on the invoice.

Room reservations

See list of area hotels that are convenient to the Cultural Arts Center and honor the state per diem. We cannot guarantee that the rate will be honored if reservations are requested close to the session, so make your reservations early. When calling the hotel, be prepared to give a credit card number to guarantee your reservation. If you need to make any changes in your originally scheduled arrival and/or departure dates, most hotels require that you notify them 72 hours prior to your arrival to avoid additional charges.

Due dates for the following materials is _________:

  • Biographical Sketch. Please provide a brief biographical sketch of yourself (professional experience, personal hobbies, etc.) no more than one page that will be included in the Participant Notebook. Bios are a way to get to know other participants and also serve as a valuable contact list after class. Please submit your bio via our website at www.pmg.vcu.edu.
  • Special Accommodations. Please email pmg@vcu.edu with any special needs (dietary, physical) so that we can make your participation more enjoyable.
  • (Will be invoiced) - Payment. The per participant tuition for the ESI is $975. Tuition covers all program fees, materials, a morning snack and lunch each full day. Tuition may be paid by check, credit card, or Internal Departmental Transfer (IDT) (VCU departments only). Electronic payments must contain the account number, the FIN number and the invoice number. Be sure to send a copy of the invoice with your payment. The link in your acceptance email provides access to print and email your invoice.
  • (If necessary) - Room Reservations. There are three locations convenient to the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen: Virginia Center Commons, Short Pump and downtown Richmond. Hotel reservations can be based on preference and most do take the Virginia per-diem. Please call if you have any questions about locations.
